What are your primary concerns with a bathroom renovation? Please read through our frequently asked questions below!

  • What can I do while my bathroom is out of commission?

    If you have another bathroom in your home, it’s easy to use that one full-time. However, if you’re renovating your only bathroom, you can rent a portable toilet during the renovation. Make sure to choose one with a shower and every other function you would typically use. Budget for this while you’re making your renovation plan.

  • Do I need to be home during the entire renovation?

    You don’t have to be home for the whole renovation unless you’d prefer to be. We work with you to arrange repairs around your schedule whenever possible.

  • Is bathroom waterproofing necessary?

    Absolutely! Without waterproofing, your bathroom renovation could be ruined within just a few months or years. Waterproofing ensures the new materials last as long as they should.

  • My bathroom space is tiny. What can I do to make it appear more spacious?

    In general, lighter coloured tiles help open up a bathroom space. Freestanding baths, showers and vanities can also make the room feel more spacious, along with a larger mirror. We can work with you to create a design that will maximise your bathroom space.

  • Will nearby rooms get covered in dust from the renovation work?

    Before we start, we’ll put down floor and furniture coverings. This will help protect your home from any dust or debris that spreads out from the bathroom.
